On 9 and 10 September 2017 in the splendid and monumental Piazza Calvario in San Cataldo, the second edition of the Arancina Festival was held.
The arancina (for us it's female!) is a typical specialty of Sicilian cuisine known and famous all over the world.
Absolute protagonist of the two San Cataldo evenings, in the name of light-heartedness and fun.
In San Cataldo the arancina with spaghetti is famous, an invention from San Cataldo in the 1970s. Having become a typical product of our country, it is available all year round to the delight of gourmets.
Our arancini, served in all eight varieties, were present at this pleasant event which attracted a huge crowd of onlookers and arancine gluttons from all over the province. On both evenings, the appreciation for our arancini was a lot!
